I am a highly experienced professional teacher and yoga instructor, specialising in supporting young people.

Kids' Workshops
Yoga-ing with your family is fun! We travel together on an exciting yoga adventure, using yoga poses and movements to tell stories and recreate characters. We use a lot of energy!
Depending on the focus of the session we will also include partner yoga poses, themed games and mindfulness before we bring the energy down at the end.
These sessions can be exciting and energetic as well as a lovely bonding experience with your child. Generally sessions are aimed at ages 4-9; adults can join in as much or as little as they like.
Our next session is Saturday 18th July at Shotteswell Village Hall, OX17 1JF.

Experience
I have over 20 years' experience of working with young people in schools, primarily as a secondary school teacher and leader, prioritising pastoral care.
This extensive experience has comprised working with a multitude of unique young people and their families, enabling me to understand that there are often complex feelings, needs and experiences that can create challenges for a young person.
I have provided yoga to support teen mental health in education, the NHS, charity and community settings.
I am fully insured, DBS checked, and hold updated certification in safeguarding training and first aid.

- supporting emotional wellbeing;
- managing stress, anger and sleep difficulties;
- building self-esteem and confidence;
- coping with anxieties around social situations and school attendance.
