Foundational Yoga

My inclusive yoga sessions offer an experience that helps build the foundations of a yoga practice. I offer breathwork and mindful fluid movement as well as more static stretches and balances. Everything is clearly introduced and explained, with space for feedback and questions as you go - so you need never feel left behind.

It is perfect for beginners or those who are returning after a break, as well as yoga-addicts! Lots of us have had injuries or ongoing health concerns that can be supported by different aspects of a yoga class. Yoga helps us prioritise our mental wellbeing, aiming to reduce anxiety and aid sleep. 

Foundational yoga encourages us to be curious about our bodies and how we can help ourselves to feel good. This is an inclusive space that welcomes everyone - please do email or message me with any questions.

Our sessions are monthly on Saturday mornings 10 - 11am at Shotteswell Village Hall, OX17 1JF, costing £10.

Restorative Yoga

My hour-long restorative session is designed to help you rest, restore and renew your energy.

Restorative yoga offers deep benefits for both body and mind by encouraging rest, stillness and self-compassion. Poses are held comfortably, allowing the nervous system to shift out of stress mode. This practice aims to reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality and encourage relaxation.

Our session begins with calming breath and gentle mobilising movement, which can be taken from a chair if preferred. We will then use the bolster cushions and other props to make us relaxed and comfortable in restorative postures on the mat.

Restorative yoga is accessible to different types of body including those of us who feel stiff or have mobility challenges or injuries.

I provide all the props and mats - you just need too bring yourself, warm socks and a cosy scarf or blanket.

Yoga Power

My dynamic 90 minute yoga power sessions offer an active and creative sequence, with playful exploration of more challenging postures and balances.

This practice is most suited to those who have experience of yoga or beginners who enjoy energetic movement. Props are provided to give everyone an opportunity to have fun and experiment.

Our sessions are monthly on Saturday mornings 9.30 - 11am at Shotteswell Village Hall, OX17 1JF, costing £15.
